Serial tech and social impact entrepreneur from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, led and supported the development of several ventures. Founded Welight in 2014, as its Co-CEO, an impact tech company that raised millions of dollars for hundreds of Brazilian nonprofits through partnerships with thousands of e-commerces and exited the company in 2019.
In 2010, co-founded the IGF (Instituto Guardiões da Floresta) - the first Brazilian NGO that started with an indigenous leader as its president and non-indigenous activists as associates and collaborators, having supported many projects that delivered solutions for water, education, and cultural preservation for indigenous communities in Acre, Brazil. He is also a venture partner at the Link School of Business in São Paulo and at Awí Amazon Superfoods and used to be a partner at Blockforce, Brazil's leading blockchain lab and consultancy for impact-oriented projects, before selling his shares. Pedro is an official guardian of the Huni Kuin tribe since 2008 and has been learning from them and assisting some of their spiritual and political leaders to establish local and global alliances. Currently acts as the founder and Chief Visionary Officer of Regenativ, a venture builder of regenerative companies, with an initial focus on the protection of endangered areas in the Amazon Rainforest and development of ecosystem services to generate assets and direct funds to a nonprofit that is part of Regenativ's group (Instituto Yubekã) which works together with the local communities to create solutions and foster their sovereignty. He holds a BA in Law and an MBA, and has attended the MITx MicroMasters in Data, Economics, and Development Policy, focusing on studies of social impact measurement.
